I am an accomplished Chartered Procurement and Supply Chain professional. I deliver procurement best practice through focused leadership, coaching and developing committed, high-performance procurement and supply chain teams. I have over 16 years of procurement experience in NPI, Production, Precision Engineering, Manufacturing, Research & Development, and Innovation across Aerospace, Nuclear, Scientific and most recently mass production within Consumer Electronic Applications.
My experience has been acquired within both the private and public sector. I have over 10 years’ experience as a senior procurement leader reporting to director, board level. I thrive in complex, challenging environments providing vision, clarity and direction. I enjoy engaging with stakeholders, understanding needs and requirements to formulate co-ordinated strategies to ensure success.
I enjoy transformation and change and have created and established successful high-performance Procurement and Supply Chain teams. I develop individual capability and team performance to enhance a team's value proposition. I encourage teamwork, proactiveness, issue solving, forces for change to ensure expectations are exceeded. I am ‘hands on’ with a ‘Servant’ leadership style which I find most successful in team development and transformation.

Recruited to transform the Supply Chain function as it had been neglected/ mismanaged for some time. Transformation was required for the SC team to meet delivery to a new flagship customer account that doubled P2i’s revenue from $16m to $30m during 2021.

Seconded by the CEO to the role of Bio-shield Programme Manager for a business-critical project to design and build a first of a kind, radiation shield to be retrospectively installed around the existing Tokamak Fusion reactor. Responsible for:

All pre and post contract negotiation & management, JCT and NEC3 contracts,

Health and Safety of all on site pre and post construction activities, meeting all CDM requirements 2015,

Procurement of entire supply chain consisting of SME suppliers, designers, consultants, scientists, and academics who conceived and validated the design and build of a one-of-a-kind radiation shield,

Management and scheduling of sub-contract construction, electrical, mechanical and ventilation installations,
-
On and off-site logistics for material delivery in accordance with build sequence,
-
Budget, risk and progress reporting to CEO and board of directors,

Co-ordination of all onsite activities to minimise any interruptions to ongoing Fusion reactor development,

Meet on site requirements for COVID testing and distancing during the first year of the global Covid 19 pandemic.
I am immensely proud of my achievements and to be able to state that I successfully delivered the Tokamak bio-shield programme within particularly challenging context with constraints consisting of time, budget, space constraints, retrofit requirement, as well as a global pandemic. This secondment was an exploration into procurement led programme management which I found to be extremely rewarding and complimentary of my existing procurement skill set. It was a huge personal challenge, the experience of which has been invaluable to my professional development.
